About Jen Armstrong
Jen earned her degree at the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Kent State University.
JAK Designs has always been a Green business and Jen’s knitwear will never be produced in a sweatshop.
Jen’s work has been featured in national ballet performances from San Francisco to Oklahoma and all the way to New York’s Lincoln Center and the Juilliard School of Dance.
In December 2005 mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom presented Jen Armstrong of JAK Designs a certificate for the distinction of 2005 Most Innovative Entrepreneur, Runner Up, by the City and County of San Francisco Small Business Commission, for excellence in entrepreneurship and for making an important contribution to the economic vitality of San Francisco.
